Foundational Learning
Build language, number, reading, writing and comprehension foundations appropriate to each stage.
ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Falakata Usha Academy serves children from Pre-Primary through Class IV with an emphasis on foundational learning, positive behaviour, communication, participation and age-appropriate development.
OUR APPROACH
Our aim is not limited to completing lessons. Children need opportunities to listen, speak, read, write, think, ask questions, work with others and develop the everyday habits that support learning.
Across the early years and primary classes, teachers use structured classroom routines and age-appropriate activities to help students become increasingly confident and independent learners.
WHAT WE VALUE
Build language, number, reading, writing and comprehension foundations appropriate to each stage.
Teach children to communicate politely, listen, take turns, cooperate and treat others with respect.
Encourage children to ask, answer, try again and take an active part in classroom learning.
Reinforce hygiene, safe routines, environmental awareness and responsible everyday habits.
OUR LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
The school environment supports classroom teaching alongside reading, guided digital learning, activities, awareness programmes and opportunities for children to practise social and life skills.
